At Statham & Company, we believe moving home can also be an opportunity to make a positive difference. That is why we are proud to support the Welsh Air Ambulance Charity through the donation of unwanted furniture collected during our moves.

Turning Unwanted Furniture Into Vital Funding
When clients prepare for a move, there are often items they no longer wish to take with them. Rather than sending quality furniture to landfill, we offer customers the option to donate suitable pieces instead.
Those items are collected on behalf of the Welsh Air Ambulance and resold through their official charity retail channels. The funds raised go directly towards supporting the charity’s lifesaving operations across Wales. Every donation helps keep helicopters in the air and critical care teams responding when they are needed most.
Supporting a Lifesaving Service
The Welsh Air Ambulance provides advanced pre-hospital emergency care across Wales, delivering hospital-level treatment at the scene of serious incidents. It is a service that relies heavily on charitable donations to operate.
By helping redirect unwanted furniture into a resale scheme that generates funding, we are able to contribute in a practical and responsible way while continuing to focus on what we do best: professional Moving & Storage services.
Reducing Waste and Giving Back to Charity
This initiative benefits both the environment and the community. It allows us and our customers to:
Reduce unnecessary landfill waste
Extend the life of quality furniture
Support a respected Welsh charity
Make moving house a more sustainable process
Many clients appreciate knowing that items they no longer need can go on to raise funds for such an important cause.
We are incredibly proud to support the Wales Air Ambulance in this way. If you are planning a move and would like to donate suitable furniture, simply mention it during your survey and we will be happy to incorporate it into your relocation plan.
